Age of Empires IV is a real-time strategy game developed by Relic
Entertainment and published by Microsoft's Xbox Game Studios. It is the
fourth installment of the Age of Empires and released on October 2021 for
Windows.



General
-------

Double click            (on a unit) Select all visible units of same type
Left click              (on ground) Confirm building or ability placement
Shift + Left click      (on ground) Queue building or ability placement
Esc                     Cancel / deselect unit / game menu / skip NIS. Not user remappable.
Control + Shift + A     “[Shift]: Select all units” – Appears as shift message on Control-A binding
Y                       (with a unit selected) Access secondary UI panel


Camera
------

[                       Rotate camera 45 degrees counter-clockwise
Backspace               Reset camera – 1st press resets camera rotation, 2nd press resets zoom
<                       Pan camera left – Default binding remapped on non-English keyboards to the
key at that location
Alt + W                 Pan camera up – Default binding remapped on non-English keyboards to the
key at that location
Alt + S                 Pan camera down – Default binding remapped on non-English keyboards to the
key at that location


Unit management
---------------

Right arrow             Cycle through selected units (forward) / Cycle through selected unit types
(forward)
Control + Tab           Cycle through selected units (reverse) / Cycle through selected unit types
(reverse)
[0 - 9]                 Select Control Group X
Shift + [0 - 9]         Add Group To Selection / Add Selected Units to Group
O                       “Select all Research Buildings” as above
H                       Cycle through Town Centers
Ctrl + Up arrow         Select all idle Villagers


Communication
