MacOS is an desktop operating system developed by Apple. It was named "Mac
OS X" until 2012 and "OS X" until 2016. MacOS is basis of Apple's other
device's operating systems like iOS, watchOS and tvOS.



Cut, copy, paste, and other common shortcuts
--------------------------------------------

Cmd + Z                 Undo the previous command. You can then press Command + Shift + Z to Redo,
reversing the undo command. In some apps, you can undo and redo multiple
commands
Cmd + H                 Hide the windows of the front app. To view the front app but hide all other
apps, press Command + Option + H
Shift + Cmd + 3         Take a screenshot of the entire screen


Sleep, log out, and shut down shortcuts
---------------------------------------

Control + Cmd + Eject   Quit all apps, then restart your Mac. If any open documents have unsaved
changes, you'll be asked whether you want to save them
Shift + Cmd + Q         Log out of your macOS user account. You'll be asked to confirm


Document shortcuts
------------------

Option + Cmd + C        Copy the formatting settings of the selected item to the Clipboard
Option + Cmd + V        Apply the copied style to the selected item
Option + Shift + Cmd + V Apply the style of the surrounding content to the item pasted within that
content
Option + Cmd + I        Show or hide the inspector window
Option + Shift + K      Type an Apple icon


Finder
------

Shift + Cmd + C         Open the Computer window
Shift + Cmd + F         Open the All My Files window
Shift + Cmd + G         Open a Go to Folder window
Shift + Cmd + K         Open the Network window
Shift + Cmd + R         Open the AirDrop window
Cmd + K                 Open the Connect to Server window
Option + Cmd + V        Move the files in the Clipboard from their original location to the current
location
Cmd + Del               Move the selected item to the Trash
