FeatureCAM 2023 keyboard shortcuts

FeatureCAM is automated CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) software that
aims to reduce CNC programming time for various CNC machines including CNC
mills. FeatureCAM 2023 is developed by American multinational software
company Autodesk.

FeatureCAM 2023 has 61 shortcuts and we have listed all of them below.



General

Alt + [1 - 9]           Quick access toolbar items
Alt + Right arrow       Step simulation forward one step
Alt + Left arrow        Step simulation backward one step
Alt + Enter             Properties
Alt + F1                Centerline simulation
Alt + F2                Play/pause simulation
Alt + F3                Single-step simulation
Alt + L                 Last view
Alt + R                 Refresh
Alt + Shift + V         Save view
Ctrl + Left click       (click a column of any list box that does sorting) Activate the second
level of sorting
Ctrl + Left click       (click a viewing mode button) Stay in that viewing mode
Ctrl + Left click       Run 3D simulation in hidden line mode and do continuous looping
Ctrl + Left click       the Play button when Home tab > Simulation panel > Sim Mode > Machine is
selected.   (click the Play button when Home tab > Simulation panel > Sim
Mode > 3D is selected) Run machine simulation in hidden line mode and do
continuous looping
Ctrl + 0                Bottom view
Ctrl + 1                Isometric view
Ctrl + 2                Front view
Ctrl + 3                Isometric 2 view

Ctrl + Left click       (click the Pick Curve button) Causes the warp status for that dialog to
toggle
Ctrl + Left click       (click the Pick Curve  button while a feature is selected) Toggles between
simulation of the selection feature and the entire Setup
Ctrl + Left click       (click the Play button) Run simulation in hidden line mode
Ctrl                    (hold Ctrl while toolpath is being computed) Temporarily turns off Toolpath
Computation Minimization. Toolpaths are recomputed for all features even if
that feature did not change
Ctrl + Shift + Left click (click the Play button when Home tab > Simulation panel > Sim Mode > 3D is
selected) Continuous loop simulation for 3D simulation
Ctrl + Shift + Left click (click the Play button when Home tab > Simulation panel > Sim Mode >
Machine is selected) Continuous loop simulation for machine simulation
Ctrl + Shift + A        Shade selected
Ctrl + Shift + C        Unshade all
Ctrl + Shift + N        Unshade selected
Ctrl + Shift + P        Toggle perspective
Del                     Delete the selected object
Esc                     Stop current simulation
F1                      Context-sensitive help
Middle click + Move the mouse (drag in the graphics window) Performs viewing based on the current viewing
mode

The mouse wheel-click-and-drag also performs this function.

Wheel up and wheel down Zoom
Shift + Left click      (click an edge when filleting) Selects all edges of the face and adds them
to the list
Shift + Left click      (click the NC Code tab) Show ACL instead of NC code
Shift + Left click      (click while clipping when Multiple Region is On) Removes the entire picked
region instead of to the nearest intersection.
Shift + Right click     (right click in graphics window) Dynamic viewing using current view mode.
Shift + Left click      (click the Show button in the SCL dialog) Displays a dialog that shows the
attributes of the model selected in SCL dialog.
