PowerMill 2023 (Simulation) keyboard shortcuts

Autodesk PowerMill is a 3D CAM software used in a range of different
engineering industries to determine optimal tool paths to reduce time and
manufacturing costs.

PowerMill 2023 (Simulation) has 16 shortcuts and we have listed all of them
below.



Simulation tab
--------------

Note 1: To use these shortcuts, the keyboard focus has to be in the
graphics window, so first click in the graphics window.

Note 2: Step sizes depends on your selection from the Simulation tab >
Simulation Controls > Increment menu.

Space                   Plays the simulation to the end
Ctrl + Space            Plays the simulation to the end of the current item
Right arrow             Advance one point through the simulation
Right arrow + Ctrl      Advance five points through the simulation
Right arrow + Ctrl + Shift Advance fifty steps through the simulation
Right arrow + Shift     Advance one tenth of a point through the simulation
Left arrow              Reverse one point through the simulation
Left arrow + Ctrl       Reverse five points through the simulation
Left arrow + Ctrl + Shift Reverse fifty steps through the simulation
Left arrow + Shift      Reverse one tenth of a point through the simulation
Shift + Page Up         Advance to the next component
Shift + Page Down       Reverse to the last component
Page Up                 Advance to the next NC item or connection
Page Down               Reverse to the previous NC item or connection
End                     Moves the tool to the end of the toolpath
Home                    Moves the tool to the start of the toolpath
