Chromebook is a laptop or tablet that runs Chrome OS as operating system.
Chrome OS is developed by Google. It is based on the Linux kernel and uses
Google Chrome as the web browser and principal web interface. That means
Chrome OS is largely based on web apps that can run in Chrome web browser.



Popular shortcuts

Alt + Search            Toggle Caps Lock
Search + L              Lock the screen

Tabs and windows
----------------

Note: If you’re using a Windows or Mac keyboard, use the Windows key or
Command key in place of the Search key.

Ctrl + Shift + N        Open a new window in incognito mode
Ctrl + T                Open a new tab
Ctrl + Shift + T        Reopen the last tab or window that you closed
Ctrl + 1                (… to Ctrl + 8) Go to tabs 1-8 in the window
Ctrl + Left click       and click a link: Open the link in a new tab in the background
Ctrl + Shift then Left click and click a link: Open the link in a new tab and switch to the new tab
Search + Alt + M        Switch windows between screens (when your Chromebook is connected to a
monitor)


Page and web browser
--------------------

Ctrl + F                Search the current page
Ctrl + Shift + G        Go to the previous match for your search
Ctrl + Enter            Add www. and .com to your input in the address bar, then open the page
Ctrl + Shift + İ        Show or hide the Developer Tools panel


System & display settings

Shift + Alt + S         Open the status area (where your account picture appears)
Search + 1              … to Search + =: Use F keys (F1 to F12)
Ctrl + Shift + +        Change screen resolution

Alt + Shift + P         Show stylus tools
Alt + Search            Turn Caps Lock on or off
