DraftSight 2023 keyboard shortcuts

DraftSight is a 2D and 3D CAD (computer aided design) software for
professional CAD users, designers, architects, engineers, and more. It is
developed by French company Dassault Systémes.

DraftSight 2023 has 42 shortcuts and we have listed all of them below.



Function keys

Esc                     Cancel current command
F1                      Displays help
F2                      Show / hide the command history in a separate Command Window
F3                      Turn EntitySnaps on / off
F4                      Recent documents browser
F5                      Switch the isometric grid to next isoplane
F7                      Turn the grid display on / off
F8                      Turn ortho mode on / off
F9                      Turn snap mode on / off
F10                     Turn Polar Guides on / off
F11                     Turn Entity Tracking on / off
F12                     Turn QuickInput Mode on and off
Ctrl + F4               Exit the drawing
Alt + F4                Exit the program


General
-------

Ctrl + N                Create a new drawing file
Ctrl + O                Opens an existing drawing file
Ctrl + S                Save the drawing under the current file name or a specified name
Ctrl + Shift + S        Save an unnamed drawing with a file name or rename the current drawing
Ctrl + 0                Maximize the drawing area or returns to generic display mode
Ctrl + 1                Turn the Properties Palette on / off
Ctrl + 9                Turn the Command Window on / off
Ctrl + A                Select all non-frozen entities in the current Viewport
Ctrl + B                Toggle snap mode during command execution
Ctrl + D                Toggle Dynamic CS mode
Ctrl + Z                Undo
Ctrl + Y                Redo: Reverse the effects of the previous U or UndoN command
Ctrl + C                Copy entities to the clipboard
Ctrl + Shift + C        Copy entities with a specified reference point to the clipboard
Ctrl + X                Copy entities to the clipboard and delete the entities
Ctrl + V                Insert data from the clipboard
Ctrl + Shift + V        Insert entities from the clipboard as a Block
Ctrl + F                Find and replace Text in Notes, Annotations, and Dimension Text
Ctrl + G                Toggle grid display during command execution
Ctrl + K                Attach a hyperlink to entities or modify an existing hyperlink
Ctrl + L                Toggle ortho mode during command execution
Ctrl + P                Plot the drawing to a plotter, printer, or file
Ctrl + R                Cycle through Tiled Views without clicking
Del                     Remove highlighted entities from a drawing
Shift                   Enforce Ortho Mode
Ctrl + H                Toggle group selection
Ctrl + Shift + A        Toggle group selection
Ctrl + Q                Exit the program
