Finale is a music notation software developed by MakeMusic. It is used by
composers, songwriters and arrangers for creating sheet music. Finale can
create the score for an entire ensemble (e.g., orchestra, concert band, big
band, etc.) as well as for the individual musicians.



Simple Entry mode

Shift + -               Accidental: Double flat
Shift + +               Accidental: Double sharp
-                       Accidental: Flat
2                       Add interval: 2nd above
3                       Add interval: 3rd above
Shift + 3               Add interval: 3rd below
Shift + 6               Add interval: 6th below
Alt + Up arrow          Change pitch: Step up diatonically
Alt + Num 0             Duration: 128th
Shift + .               Tool: Augmentation dot
Ctrl + Num 2            Tool: Rest: 32th


Simple Entry Tablature mode

Ctrl + Num 2            Enter note on fret: 12
Alt + Num /             Tool: Tie
