Google Maps keyboard shortcuts

Google Maps is a mapping service developed by Google. It includes satellite
imagery, street maps, 360 degrees panoramic views of streets, real time
traffic information, route planning for travelling by foot, car, bicycle or
public transportation. Google Maps project began as a C++ desktop program
and in October, the company was acquired by Google in October 2004.

Google Maps has 25 shortcuts and we have listed all of them below.



General

Tab                     Navigate between controls on the screen
Arrow keys              Pan to desired direction
Page Up                 Pan wider
Page Down               Pan wider
Home                    Pan wider
End                     Pan wider
Double click            Zoom
+                       Zoom
Double click right button Zoom out (Ctrl + double click for Mac users)
-                       Zoom out (Ctrl + double click for Mac users)


Street View
-----------

A                       Rotate camera 45 degrees in counter-clockwise direction
Left arrow              Rotate camera 45 degrees in counter-clockwise direction
D                       Rotate camera 45 degrees in clockwise direction
Right arrow             Rotate camera 45 degrees in clockwise direction
W                       Look up towards the sky
Page Up                 Look up towards the sky
S                       Look down towards the ground
Page Down               Look down towards the ground

Note: A, S, D and W keys may not work in fullscreen mode

Up arrow                Go forward
Down arrow              Go backward
+                       Zoom in
-                       Zoom out
Double click            (the circle) Jump to the point
Double click            (the rectangle) Zoom in to that point
3                       (numpad) Toggle 3D mode
