Google Sites (new) keyboard shortcuts

Google Sites is a web-based tool for creating web pages. In June 2016,
Google introduced a rebuilt version of Google Sites platform named New
Google Sites.

Google Sites (new) has 39 shortcuts and we have listed all of them below.



Page, section, and menu
-----------------------

Ctrl + /                Open shortcut menu
Cmd + /                 (Mac) Open shortcut menu
Ctrl + Shift + \        Open the context menu of any particular page, section, title, or embed
section
Cmd + Shift + \         (Mac) Open the context menu of any particular page, section, title, or
embed section
Enter                   Select a section
Space                   Select a section
Alt + Left arrow / Right arrow Resize the embed
Tab                     Navigate between elements
Shift + Tab             Navigate between elements
Arrow keys              Navigate the options inside a menu
Enter                   Grab a page, section, or embed
Esc                     Release a page, section, or embed

Press arrow key after grabbing the section or embed to move the section or
embed

After the page is grabbed, use right arrow key to nest the page

After the page is grabbed, use left arrow key to unnest the page

Up arrow / Down arrow   Move focus to next or previous page
Left arrow / Right arrow Expand or collapse children
Tab                     Interact with elements in the focused page
Space then Arrow keys   Grab or drop page
Home                    Focus first page
End                     Focus last page
*                       Expand all pages

Ctrl + \                Clear formatting
Alt + Shift + 5         Strikethrough
Cmd + Shift + X         (Mac) Strikethrough
Ctrl + Shift + L        Align left
Ctrl + Shift + E        Align center
Ctrl + Shift + R        Align right
Ctrl + Shift + 7        Numbered list
Ctrl + Shift + 8        Bulleted list
Ctrl + K                Insert link
Arrow keys              Move item up, down, left, or right
Shift + Left arrow / Right arrow Move item in or out of a group
Up arrow / Down arrow   Reorder items in a group
Ctrl + Alt + 0          Apply Normal Text
Ctrl + Alt + 1          Apply Title
Ctrl + Alt + 2          Apply Heading
Ctrl + Alt + 3          Apply Subheading
Ctrl + Alt + 7          Apply code font to text
Cmd + Option + 7        (Mac) Apply code font to text
