Apple iTunes is free application for managing your digital music and video.
The application connects to your iPhone, iPod and Apple TV and syncs your
content. iTunes provides a great way to follow your favorite artists and
discover what your friends are listening to.

iTunes 11 for Windows has 62 shortcuts and we have listed all of them
below.



Playback
--------

Enter                   Play the currently selected song immediately
Ctrl + Alt + Left arrow / Right arrow Move backward or forward within a song
Shift + Left arrow / Right arrow Listen to previous or next album in a list
Left arrow / Right arrow Go to the previous or next song in a list


Library and playlist
--------------------

Ctrl + Left click       (on the checkbox next to a song) Select or deselect all the songs in a list
Ctrl + Shift + N        Create a playlist from a selection of songs
Ctrl + Alt + N          Create a new smart playlist
F5                      Refresh the Radio list (when Radio is selected)
F5                      Refresh a Genius playlist (when the playlist is selected)


iTunes Store
------------

Ctrl + ]                Go to next page in the iTunes Store
Ctrl + Ü                
Ctrl + [                Go to previous page in the iTunes Store
Ctrl + Ğ                
F5                      Check for new podcast episodes (when Podcasts is selected, below the
Library)
Shift + Enter           (after typing in Search field) Initiate a search in the iTunes Store
Alt + S                 Open the Store menu
F5                      Check for app updates (when Apps is selected, below the Library)


File and window
---------------

Ctrl + Left click       (on a triangle) Expand or collapse all the triangles in the Radio's Stream
list
Alt + N                 In the Get Info window, see the info for the next or previous song in the
list
Alt + P                 In the Get Info window, see the info for the next or previous song in the
list
Ctrl + F                Select the search field
?                       then press the indicated key to use an option (not all visual effects
support this)
Ctrl + Left click       (on the video) Choose artwork for the selected video
Ctrl + U                Stream audio file at a specific URL to iTunes


iPod and iPhone
---------------

Ctrl + Shift            (while connecting your iPod, until iPod appears in the iTunes window)
Prevent iPod from automatically syncing when you connect it to your
computer


Spoken word shortcuts
---------------------

Ctrl + Shift + Left arrow / Right arrow Go to last or next chapter (if available)


File menu
---------

Ctrl + N                Create a new playlist
Ctrl + O                Add a file to your music library
Ctrl + W                Close the iTunes window
Ctrl + I                Open the song or CD Info window for the selected song or CD
Ctrl + R                Show where a song file is located
Ctrl + L                Show the currently playing song in the list


Edit menu
---------

Ctrl + ,                Open iTunes Preferences
Ctrl + Z                Undo your last typing change while still in edit mode
Ctrl + X                Cut the selected song’s information or artwork
Ctrl + C                Copy the selected song’s information or artwork
Ctrl + V                Paste the selected song’s information or artwork
Ctrl + A                Select all the songs in the list
Ctrl + Shift + A        Deselect all the songs in the list


Control menu
------------

Space                   Start or stop playing the selected song
Right arrow             When a song is playing, play the next song in a list
Left arrow              When a song is playing, play the previous song in a list
Ctrl + Up arrow         Increase the volume
Ctrl + Down arrow       Decrease the volume
Ctrl + Alt + Down arrow Mute the sound (song keeps playing)
Ctrl + E                Eject a CD


View menu
---------

Ctrl + Shift + M        Switch to the MiniPlayer
Ctrl + B                Hide or show the Browser (Artist and Album columns)
Ctrl + T                Turn the visualizer on or off
Cmd + F                 Switch between viewing visual effects using the entire screen or in the
iTunes window (when visualizer is on)
Ctrl + Shift + F        Enter or exit full-screen view
Ctrl + J                Open the View Options window for the selected source


Help menu
---------

Ctrl + ?                Open iTunes help


General
-------

Ctrl + Shift            (while opening iTunes) Open iTunes in “safe mode” (without external
plug-ins)
F2                      Edit the name of the currently selected item
F5                      Refresh source list
Ctrl + Break            Interrupt the current process (burning a CD, syncing, converting a file,
and so on)


With full keyboard navigation enabled
-------------------------------------

To turn on full keyboard navigation, choose Edit > Preferences, click
General, and select "Enable full keyboard navigation." 

Tab                     Select the next control
Enter                   Click the currently selected control
Left arrow / Right arrow Open or close the selected item's disclosure triangle
+                       Open the selected item's disclosure triangle
-                       Close the selected item's disclosure triangle
