Microsoft Edge (macOS) keyboard shortcuts

Microsoft Edge is a web browser developed by Microsoft. First released in
July 2015, it originally used Microsoft's own proprietary browser engine
EdgeHTML. As of 2019, it was rebuilt to use Chromium engine. While
Microsoft Edge is the default browser for Windows 10, it has macOS,
Android, iOS and even Windows 7 versions.

Microsoft Edge (macOS) has 52 shortcuts and we have listed all of them
below.



Navigation
----------

Cmd + L                 Select the URL in the address bar to edit
Cmd + Shift + N         Open a new window
Cmd + O                 Open a file from your computer in Edge
Cmd + P                 Print the current page
Cmd + Shift + V         Paste format free text
Cmd + Shift + W         Close the current window
Cmd + Shift + Del       Open clear browsing data options
Cmd + [                 Go back
Cmd + ]                 Go forward
Cmd + W                 Close the current tab
Cmd + Shift + F         Enter full screen (toggle)
Esc                     Stop loading page; close dialog or pop-up
Space                   Scroll down webpage, one screen at a time
Shift + Space           Scroll up webpage, one screen at a time
Cmd + Del               Delete the entire text field / entire line of text
Ctrl + Shift + U        Read aloud (text to speech)

Note: If you use Radeon Software and enabled its hotkeys, this shortcut may
conflict and may not work.



Search and find
---------------

Cmd + Option + F        Search the web
Cmd + Enter             Search the typed query in new tab
Cmd + F                 Find on page
Cmd + G                 Jump to the next match to your Find Bar search
Cmd + Shift + G         Jump to the previous match to your Find Bar search
Cmd + Shift + L         Paste and search or Paste and go (if it's a URL)


Tabs
----

Control + Fn + Down arrow Go to next tab stop
Control + Fn + Up arrow Go to previous tab stop
Cmd + Y                 Open History in a new tab
Cmd + Option + L        Open Downloads in a new tab
Control + M             Mute current tab (toggle)
Cmd + Shift + N         Open a new InPrivate window
Cmd + T                 Open a new tab and switch to it
Cmd + W                 Close the current tab
Cmd + 1                 … to 8: Switch to a specific tab
Cmd + 9                 Switch to the last tab
Cmd + Shift + H         Open your home page in the current tab
Tab                     Move to next control
Shift + Tab             Move to previous control


Zooming

Cmd + 0                 Reset zoom level
Cmd + +                 Zoom in
Cmd + -                 Zoom out


Reloading
---------

Cmd + Shift + R         Reload the current page, ignoring cached content
Cmd + Shift + T         Reopen the last closed tab, and switch to it
Cmd + R                 Reload the current page


In a PDF
--------

Cmd + \                 Toggle PDF between fit to page / fit to width
Cmd + [                 Rotate PDF counter-clockwise 90°
Cmd + ]                 Rotate PDF clockwise 90°


Developer
---------

Cmd + Shift + C         Open Developer Tools
F12                     Open Developer Tools
Cmd + Shift + R         Reload the current page, ignoring cached content
Cmd + Option + J        Open the JavaScript console


Favorites
---------

Cmd + D                 Save your current webpage as a favorite
Cmd + Shift + B         Show or hide the favorites bar
Cmd + Shift + D         Save all open tabs as favorites in a new folder


Misc
----

Cmd + Shift + M         Log in a different user or browse as a guest
