NerdTree 6.9.10 keyboard shortcuts

NERDTree is a file explorer pluin for Vim text editor. It allows to browse
complex directory hierarchies, quickly open files for reading or editing,
and perform basic file system operations.

NerdTree 6.9.10 has 53 shortcuts and we have listed all of them below.



File node mappings
------------------

O                       Open in preview window
Double click            Open in preview window
G then O                Preview selected file
T                       Open selected file in new tab
Shift + T               Open selected file in new tab silently
I                       Open selected file in a horizontal split window
Middle click            Open selected file in a horizontal split window
G then I                Preview horizontal split
S                       Open selected file in a vertical split window
G then S                Preview vertical split
Enter                   Custom open


Directory node mappings
-----------------------

O                       Open & close node
Double click            Open & close node
Shift + O               Recursively open node
T                       Open in new tab
Shift + T               Open in new tab silently
Enter                   Custom open
X                       Close parent of node
Shift + X               Close all child nodes of current node recursively
E                       Explore selected directory
Middle click            Explore selected directory


Bookmark table mappings

O                       Open bookmark
G then O                Preview selected file
G then O                Find directory in tree
T                       Open in new tab
Shift + T               Open in new tab silently
I                       Open horizontally split
G then I                Preview split

Shift + P               Go to root
P                       Go to parent

Ctrl + J                Go to next sibling

Filesystem mappings
-------------------

Shift + C               Change tree root to the selected directory
U                       Move tree root up a directory
Shift + U               Move tree root up a directory but leave old root open
R                       Refresh cursor directory
Shift + R               Refresh current root
M                       Show menu
C then D                Change the CWD to the selected directory
Shift + C then Shift + D Change tree root to CWD
