rTorrent is a text-based BitTorrent client. It's focused on "high
performance" and "good code". As of this article written, latest stable
release was 0.9.8 which is released in July 2019.



Global
------

Ctrl + Q                Initiate shutdown; press again to force shutdown
Arrow keys              Select entries / Change windows, views
S                       Increase the upload throttle by 5 KB
X                       Decrease the upload throttle by 5 KB
Shift + C               Decrease the download throttle by 50 KB


Main view
---------

Right arrow             Switch to Download view
Ctrl + S                Start download (will run hashing first, unless already done)
Ctrl + O                Set new download directory for selected torrent (only works when torrent is
inactive)
-                       Decrease torrent priority
+                       Increase torrent priority
Shift + I               Toggle ignore ratio for torrent
1                       Change view > All downloads
6                       Change view > Incomplete downloads
Ctrl + R                Start hash check for a torrent
Backspace               Add torrent via URL or file path. Use Tab to do auto-complete. Wildcards
can be used


Download view

I                       Display file list
P                       Display peer list


Peer list view

*                       Snub peer (stop uploading to this peer)
K                       Kick peer (disconnect from peer)
Shift + B               Ban peer (unbanning is not possible). Version 0.8.4 and later
