Vegas Pro is a video editing software currently developed by Magix Madison.
It is a non-linear editing (NLE) software for video and audio, with an
abilty to real-time multitrack editing. Vegas Pro runs on Windows.



Project file
------------

Ctrl + N                Create new project
Alt + F4                Exit
Ctrl + F4               Close the current project
Ctrl + O                Open an existing project
Alt + Enter             Project properties
Ctrl + Alt + S          Save version (incremental save)


Magnification and view
----------------------

Alt + M                 Open Motion Tracking mode
B                       Show / Hide audio bus tracks
Ctrl + Up arrow / Down arrow Zoom in / out horizontally in large increments or zoom to selection (if one
exists)


Cursor placement, loop region, and time selection

Ctrl + G                Go to


General editing
---------------

Ctrl + X                Cut selection
D                       Switch to next editing tool


Event selection and editing
---------------------------

Ctrl + ]                Move cursor to edge of next selected event
Alt + Num 3             Slip trim selected events one frame left / right
Num 4                   Trim selected events one pixel left
=                       Raise pitch one semitone
-                       Lower pitch one semitone


Timeline and track list

Ctrl + M                Render to new track


Trimmer commands
----------------

Many shortcuts of the timeline will also work in the Trimmer. You'll find
commands specific to Trimmer below.



Surround spanner
----------------

Add Ctrl to the following shortcuts if you want to move the pan point in
fine increments.



Mixing Console
--------------

W                       Cycle default / narrow / wide channel strip
I                       Show / Hide Insert FX control region


Mouse wheel
