almost any format.

VLC Media Player has 51 shortcuts and we have listed all of them below.



Basic shortcuts
---------------

F                       Full screen
Esc                     Exit full screen mode
Space                   Play or pause the video
V                       Subtitles on/off
B                       Select audio track
Ctrl + Up arrow         Volume up by 5 percent
Ctrl + Down arrow       Volume down by 5 percent


Playback controls

Shift + Right arrow     Jump 3 seconds forward
Shift + Left arrow      Jump 3 seconds backward
Alt + Right arrow       Jump 10 seconds forward
Alt + Left arrow        Jump 10 seconds backward
Ctrl + Right arrow      Jump 60 seconds forward
Ctrl + Left arrow       Jump 60 seconds backward

Ctrl + D                Open disc menu
Ctrl + F                Open browse folder menu
Ctrl + R                Advanced open file
Ctrl + O                Open single file
M                       Mute and unmute audio
P                       Play movie from the very beginning
S                       Stop movie
