Xmonad 0.17.2 keyboard shortcuts

xmonad is a dynamic window manager (tiling) for the X Window System. While
originally a clone of dwm, xmonad now supports features not available to
dwm users such as per-workspace layout, tiling reflection, state
preservation, layout mirroring. Xmonad was initially released on March 6,
2007. Version 0.17.2 listed here was released on April 2, 2023.

Xmonad 0.17.2 has 9 shortcuts and we have listed all of them below.



General

Alt + Shift + Enter     Opens terminal
Alt + Space             Change layout
Alt + K then Alt + J    Change window focus
Alt + H then Alt + L    Decreases/increases border size between windows
Alt + Shift + C         Close focused window
Alt + Enter             Move focused window to the master pane on the left
Alt + Shift + Q         Log out
Alt + Q                 Reload xmonad configurations


Suckless-tools

Alt + P                 Shows a bar where you can load whichever program is installed
