You can now localize shortcuts!

Did you notice our new feature, the User Localizations? It's now possible to contribute our shortcut content by localizing existing lists from English to your language. I've tried to make it as easy as possible, and I'm working to improve it further. Here is how it works:

  • Register an account in a few clicks. If you register via Google, you probably won't even type anything to register.
  • Click your profile icon and click Localize!
  • Check and edit your target language; it's right under "Start here" or in your Profile settings.
  • Search for a program, fill in the boxes next to English texts, and Submit!

That's almost it. When you finish, click Send for Approval to let me review your work.

When your work is published, you'll get a notification. Your name will appear next to the user who entered the original (English) article.

What you will get more?

  • The number of translations you made (and published by us) is displayed in your Profile.

Soon:

  • We will soon include user translation events in "Feed".
  • Translation history will be viewable in the user's Profile.

What's next for Defkey?

Currently, I'm working hard to fill the missing areas of this new feature. Even if nobody helps at the beginning, I'll improve it to a point that contributing is very user-friendly without people overlapping, etc.

I'm sure you're aware I couldn't yet put all my ideas into this yet, but your ideas are very welcome. Let me know what you would like to see about this localization feature in the comments.
