There's no END key on my keyboard so I can't easily disable the program. Apart from that, I've been enjoying f.lux for years

I accidentally pressed something on my keyboard that caused f.lux to switch to monochrome (grayscale) mode. It took me a while to figure out how to fix it on my PC (I kept doing all sorts of Google searches for Windows 7 solutions). Eventually I discovered that f.lux has an option under "Effects" to toggle grayscale mode.

That was probably Alt + Shift + Page Up / Page Down. Glad you've found the solution.

I had similar (but probably not worse) situation where Windows keyboard layout changed with a global shortcut. At the beginning I didn't even know a shortcut causes it. That shortcut is Alt + Shift. So when you start to press any shortcut with Alt + Shift but give up pressing on the halfway, you're going to change the keyboard layout silently. Thanks Microsoft :-)

Is there a shortcut keys for Macs?
Zeynel Admin says in reply to mike : 5 years ago 6/5/2019 8:51 PM
I don't have a Mac to try, but a quick search in Google says there are some (not looking so quick) workarounds about it. In Windows, I can see shortcuts in the program options.
