Keyboard shortcuts are essential for almost any real-time strategy player, as they allow to do repetitive actions quicker than mouse movements and clicks. In this shortcuts list, a few are specific to Remastered edition of the game, and they are indicated in parentheses.

This shortcut list is sorted by user, meaning that original structure (headings) is disregarded. You can see the original page here: StarCraft keyboard controls.

Note: StarCraft: Remastered only switches between those two modes whereas non-remastered supports three modes

Control group selection shortcuts also work for one of the players (such as Alt+number, double tapping on number to select units from the numbered control group and then center screen on them)
Note: You can combine some of the shortcuts. For example, Ctrl+Shift+Click on a unit will add that unit and others of the same type on the screen to the current selection.

StarCraft is the first video game in the StarCraft real-time strategy game series. It was released on March 31, 1998. The game is set in a distant sector of the Milky Way galaxy. The story of the game revolves around the appearance of two alien races in Terran space and each race's attempts to survive and adapt over the others. StarCraft: Remastered, a remastered edition of the game was released on August 14, 2017.
