Wikipedia keyboard shortcuts

You probably didn't even think that you can use Wikipedia through keyboard shortcuts, but that's possible. Though most of the shortcuts are useful for Wikipedia editors, there are a few good ones for readers, too. For example in Chrome web browser, you can press Alt + Shift + X to go to a random article and Alt + Shift + R to see list of recent changes.

On Firefox (Windows, Linux), hold down Alt + Shift then press access key.
Current page tools
On Safari (macOS) hold down Control + Option then press access key.
Note: You first need to hold down "modifier key" above, in order to use these shortcuts.
On Google Chrome (Linux) ve Opera 15+ (Linux), hold down Control + Option then press access key.
Personal tools

On Safari (Windows) hold down Alt then press access key.
On Firefox (macOS), hold down Control + Option then press access key.
For example on Windows, you need to press Alt + Shift + F to go to the search box.
Information: To use most Wikipedia keyboard shortcuts, you first need to hold down "modifier" keys. These keys differ in various web browsers. Please use this list to determine a valid key combination for your browser.
